Streatham-based singer and songwriter Mysie has been on an unstoppable upward trajectory as of late. With a host of inspiring singles under her belt (many of which we've covered as List Picks here at TMR), Mysie has managed to raise the bar again with her addictive new offering 'Bones'. Written "about going within, and what your gut has to offer”, Mysie's incredible vocal performance caresses the luscious hooks and and melodies as breathy synthesizers sigh exasperated over squashy bass parts and processed beats. The chorus itself is soulful and precise, as Mysie reels off exceptional rhyme after rhyme, making it easy to see how she picked up that recent nomination at the 2020 Ivor Novello Awards.
